Catalyst Gen 2: For Simplicity
Tune it by hand with a 4-position switch, two buttons, and two LEDs. Set dwell and delay to the millisecond, then pick your primary and secondary fire modes: semi, full auto, binary, 2- or 3-round burst, or safety. No app, no pairing. The most affordable FCU ever.
Catalyst Wireless: For Uncompromising Performance
The smallest FCU on the market, about the size of a US quarter. Pair it to your phone and change any setting on the fly with the Backdraft Control app. Up to 3 selector positions, easy-to-read LEDs, and support for upcoming accessories. FCC, CE, and RoHS compliant.

Which Catalyst Is Right for Your Engine?
Running a Backdraft Phoenix? Phoenix M4, AK, and LMG kits already ship with a Catalyst Gen 2. Upgrade to the Catalyst Wireless when you want to tune from your phone, or grab a spare Gen 2 for your next build.
Running a Backdraft Wyvern? The Wyvern runs on the Catalyst Wireless only. The Catalyst Gen 2 is not compatible with the Wyvern.
Upgrading another HPA engine? Either edition works. Pick the Gen 2 to keep it simple and affordable, or the Wireless for app control! Grab the matching wire harness for your build.

Compatibility Notes
The Catalyst works with HPA engines that fire using a solenoid valve, which covers nearly every electronic HPA engine on the market. It is not compatible with engines that move the nozzle with an electromagnet, such as the Spark Labs Wolf.
The Backdraft Wyvern is compatible with the Catalyst Wireless only.
